JeAnna Karloff – Community Counselor
My name is JeAnna Karloff and I am very excited to be the counselor at Holling Heights Elementary. I will be teaching the guidance lessons in the classrooms. In addition to that I will be meeting with students individually, speaking with teachers and parents, and conducting small group sessions. I am also able to assist families in contacting community resources as needed. Feel free to contact me by e-mail at jmkarloff@mpsomaha.org or by phone at 715-8408 for any questions or needs you may have. I will be at school on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Our red ribbon week celebration held October 19th – October 23rd was a wonderful success! All students signed a drug free pledge card which will remain on the front bulletin board for the next two weeks. Each classroom participated in a door decorating contest. There were many ways for our students to receive positive messages about making healthy choices and remaining drug free. We had 100% participation in the wear red day. Check out the great photos of our students.
Remember that although we celebrate red ribbon week in October, it is important to talk with your children about being drug free all year. Please consider exploring any of the websites listed below for additional information. You may also contact Mrs. Karloff for information and support regarding this important topic.
